Great Harvest knows the secret to baking the best bread on the planet.
We start with only the highest quality wheat kernels we can find and stone mill them into fresh flour every day right inside our bakery.

Meet Our Bakers
Marty Kane
Professional Loafer (Owner)
Marty’s background is deep rooted in promotional marketing, he spent the better part of a 20 year career creating and executing marketing campaigns to get people to buy this or that. Now he wants you just to focus on buying Great Harvest breads and sweets. Being a corporate refugee, he finally made the jump to entrepreneurship and decided to be close to home with his 4 kids and wonderful wife (Business Partner also).
Marty hit the ground running in April of 2009 when he and his wife Kim officially took ownership of the Geneva Great Harvest. He loves the look customers give when they bite into that hot slice of Cheddar Garlic and utter the words “Oh My God That is Good”. Knowing that he only sells quality products made fresh everyday makes each day that much more special. If you have not met Marty, stop in, he loves to meet new people and is not a bit shy.
Kim Kane
The best thing since sliced bread (Owner)
Kim too is a corporate refugee but gave it all up years ago to stay home and take on the hardest job in America…motherhood with 4 young children. Kim is an expert in project management and spent years in the Telecommunications arena doing just that. She is the inspiration for the Kane’s current situation (She called Marty one day while he was stuck in traffic and asked the big question “Do you want to Buy Great Harvest?” The rest as they say is history.
On top of running the Kane household, Kim can be found at the bakery, volunteering for the PTO or being the Den Leader for both of her Son’s Cub Scout Group as well as her Daughter’s Brownie Troop. She believes in eating healthy and has been known to spend any free time she can find exercising. Kim’s motor never stops running; she is someone you should get to know better.
